So I got off of work early and decided to take advantage of all this good'ol sunshine. I headed to the beach (I love the beach in the winter/fall, not a lot of people are around) to find me a good photo. I was able to capture the sun setting behind some people fishing and watching the surfers, but I had to pay a price. This photo caused me to see purple for a good half hour! I had to look into the viewfinder while the sun was burning right into my retina. I guess it was worth it; I do have two eyes.
I was also able to shoot some guys surfing, too. What kind of beach adventure would it be if I didn't do that?
My gear for this outing:
-D300
-300mm 2.8
-1.7 TC
Essentially I was shooting at 500mm F/4.8. Long glass FTW!
Till then.
